About Coach Schwetz:
Coach Schwetz grew up in Burlington and graduated from BEHS in 2013. Coach grew up a Tiger; as some of his fondest memories growing up are following and cheering on Tiger athletes as they competed for championships in the Tacoma dome, Yakima Sun Dome, Prosser High School, Safeco Field, and so many more. Coach was able to put his stamp on Tiger athletics; as a three sport varsity athlete (football, basketball, baseball), a state champion (baseball 2011), and an all conference/state award winner in multiple sports. He was blessed to then attend Pacific University where he lettered in football while graduating in 2018 with his degree in kinesiology. After graduation there was never a doubt what he wanted to do; he quickly dove head first into the coaching profession. With coaching stops at Pacific University (Defensive Backs), Coconino High School in AZ (Defensive Coordinator & Assistant Head Coach), and Marysville-Pilchuck High School (Head Coach); Coach Schwetz was honored to have the opportunity to come home and become the next head football coach at BEHS and is excited to build upon the strong foundation that was laid on and off the field in 2024. In year one leading the program coach was recognized as the NWC Co-Coach of the Year; he takes pride in all of the time & energy that the players, coaches, and community have invested into Tiger Football. The standard has been set and Coach is back to work as Tiger Football pursues a postseason berth and a playoff run. Coach Schwetz would like to thank his wife (Trisha), his puppy (Bow), his family (Travis, Kelly, Mason) for their constant support and sacrifice allowing him to pursue his goals as a coach.
